Fall in Love with Barilla Heart-Shaped Pasta

Barilla's new contest lets you win a trip to Italy.

As Valentine’s Day approaches, Barilla has some pasta news to share that will make your heart skip a beat. The world’s largest pasta producer has introduced a new limited edition heart-shaped pasta. The new pasta, with the name “Barilla Love”, is inspired by the brand's Mezzi Rigatoni.

“Each pasta shape has a story. For us, reimagining our iconic Blue Box pasta line to include this charming shape is one other way pasta enthusiasts can celebrate their love for one another and their love of pasta,” said Melissa Tendick, Vice President of Marketing, Barilla Americas. “There is no better way to show you care than through cooking, and we’re looking forward to seeing our fans create authentic, delicious Italian meals at home this Valentine’s Day.”

You will not be able to get your hands on the heart-shaped pasta by making a trip to your local grocery store. Barilla is giving the pasta away to fans as part of a contest. When you enter to win a Barilla Love Pasta Kit, the freebie box includes pasta-themed Valentine’s cards and ingredients for a romantic dinner.

But what makes this content so sweet? Entering the contest gives you a shot at winning an incredible all-expense paid trip to Italy!

How to win a free trip to Italy with Barilla

Barilla is offering a couple the chance to win a romantic trip to two gorgeous Italian cities, Parma and Florence. The pasta brand is asking contestants to fill out a submission form on the Barilla Love website and share how their pasta “brings them closer to their loved ones.” One lucky couple will be picked to win the trip of a lifetime, with plenty of pasta. The prize includes round trip airfares for two, hotel accommodation, and tours. To enter the contest, you must fill out the submission form by February 1st!
