7 Things to Know if Planning to Stay at The White Lotus Hotel

The White Lotus has taken the internet by storm, with the most recent season finding a home in Sicily. The HBO show is a satire following various hotel employees and guests at an exclusive Hawaiian resort over the span of one week. Season two followed the same plotline, except they set this season in Italy. The show follows a chain of luxury hotels, with each season involving a different season than the first.

Several Italian actors are featured in season 2. You’ll find the cast list including Adam DiMarco, Beatrice Grannò, Sabrina Impacciatore, and Michael Imperioli. Many of the cast from the first season do return like Jennifer Coolidge as Tanya McQuoid-Hunt.

If you want to live the life of luxury, much like Mrs. McQuoid-Hunt, here is everything you need to know about your stay at The White Lotus Hotel.

7 Things to know about The White Lotus Hotel

  1. During season 2, Tanya chooses the Royal Suite for her and Greg. While other rooms are available for pricing on the website, this suite is booked by phone only. If you want to match their luxurious lifestyle, you would need to call ahead.
  2. Season 2 of White Lotus was filmed at the Four Seasons San Domenico Palace. The hotel is located in Taormina, Sicily.
  3. If you can’t book the Royal Suite like in the show, the next best option is the Princess Cecile Suite. This suite charges $6,394 a night for the A Suite Dream package. In this package, you get transportation to and from the airport. Included is also a daily breakfast.
  4. The Air BnB featured in the show is not in Noto, Italy. The actual villa is in Palermo, Italy, located roughly four hours away from the show location.
  5. While not featured in this season, the hotel does have a spa. Their popup spa can be found at the base of Mount Etna. You can head outside and into their infinity pool, overlooking the water of Taormina Bay. The spa also has a fitness center on the ground floor.
  6. To make your trip exactly like Tanya’s, make sure to dine at the hotel restaurant! A main course at the hotel restaurant runs around $52. To truly live like Tanya, there is also a tasting menu that costs between $122 to $234 per person.
  7. The hotel itself is on a rock promontory, overlooking the Ionian Sea in a 14th-century convent. It’s the perfect place to take in the scenery, learn history, and enjoy Michelin-star dining.
