NIAF hosts photo contest, 2018

The National Italian American Federation hosts a photo contest for photographers to submit their best photos. In 2018, here were the top 6 winners.

Joseph De Francesco photographed his Uncle Domenico’s Fiat 126 parked in front of a historic villa in the town piazza.

Steve Bonasia photographed this statue representing a worker who was responsible for working the vineyards and harvesting the grapes that were “Made in Italy."

Anthony John Basil photographed an evening in Via Petrosa, Assisi, Italy

While visiting Sicily, photographer Joan Nova was on a film set for the WWII-themed movie, “In Guerra Per Amore."

Anthony R. Masso photographed this boy riding his bike in a narrow lane in Lago Maggiore

Grand prize winner, Gina Falcone photographed her father, Joe Falcone, and a street musician playing “Love Theme for Nata” from Cinema Paradiso on his soprano saxophone.

The 2022 NIAF Photo Contest ends on October 3rd, 2022.

Anyone can submit to the contest. This year’s theme is Tanti Auguri, pictures must be 300 dpi, must write why the picture fits the theme, and email to this address to submit: photocontest@niaf.org
