NIAF hosts photo contest, 2019

The National Italian American Federation hosts a photo contest for photographers to submit their best photos. In 2019, here were the top 6 winners.

Pierluigi Lanciotti photographed during a four-hour bike ride in the beautiful hills of the Marche Region.

John Frattasi photographed An old man standing next to his bicycle in the famous Piazza Del Duomo in Lecce, Puglia.

Liberty Wood photographed The town of Scapoli with the International Bagpipe Museum which preserves some of the world’s oldest bagpipes from all over Italy and Europe.

Samantha Pulgini photographed Two nonnas enjoying the unexpected passing of tourists through their quaint village home of Fornelli.

Francesca Guddemi photographed the unexpected beauty of the island of Lampedusa, with its crystal clear aqua waters and fantastic beaches.

Grand prize winner, Despina Gaeta photographed The dramatic vista of Civita di Bagnoregio, in the province of Viterbo.

The 2022 NIAF Photo Contest ends on October 3rd, 2022.

Anyone can submit to the contest. This year’s theme is Tanti Auguri, pictures must be 300 dpi, must write why the picture fits the theme, and email to this address to submit: photocontest@niaf.org
