Inter Milan Owner Attends NHL Game in Boston

Serie A Owner Posted on Instagram from TD Bank Garden

Steve Zhang, businessman, and owner of the Italian football club, Inter Milan, recently attended a National Hockey League game in Boston.

According to Football-Italian.net, Zhang took photographs and posted them to his Instagram account as he took in the Boston Bruins against the visiting Carolina Hurricanes.

In October 2018, Zhang became the youngest chairman in the history of Football Club Internazionale Milano. In 2016, Zhang played a key role in Suning Holdings Group’s acquisition of the famed Serie A side. In May of 2022, Inter was listed by Forbes as having a value of $1 billion, with annual revenue of $393 million.

In May 2021, Inter Milan was crowned as the champions of Serie A. In May 2022, Inter won the Coppa Italia title with a, 4-2, win over Juventus.

Steven Zhang recently said that Suning has committed to the Serie A club and denied suggestions that it could be sold.

"The commitment for us is long-term. The future is crystal clear since we have taken over the club,” Steven Zhang told Reuters after Inter Milan's annual shareholder meeting.

While Zhang seemed to be enjoying himself at one of the NHL’s venues, there is no indication that he is investing in a professional hockey team in North America at time of press.
